energy 101

Energy is the common bond of all things. It is what links us with the universe and everything in it. Our body's energy field is similar to that of a tree. We are connected to the earth through our feet by a large system of energy roots while at the same time we are connected to the energies of the heavens by up stretching energy branches. Our body is the trunk where the energies meet and flow. We are not a straight circuit pouring raw energy in and out from both directions as there are energy centers in the body that bring these forces into harmony for our use.

Our thoughts and emotions are energy and have the power to determine the content and quality of our life. Things that you ceased to notice on a conscious level are having an impact on you creating patterns that we repeat unknowingly. It's been estimated that 99.99% of the thoughts and feelings that we have yesterday are the same ones we'll have today.

Color can be described as a function of wavelength and frequency; this means vibration. In other words, color is a form of energy - one that you perceive with your eyes but that exists and affects you on many other levels.

Speech is Sound. Sound is a wave of energy, one of the most powerful that exists. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, the Word was God, he was with God in the beginning." John 1-2

what is reiki?

Reiki is a natural energy healing technique. Reiki is thought to have originated thousands of years ago in Tibet. Similar healing techniques emerged in India, China, Japan, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Native American cultures. The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words - Rei and Ki. Rei means universal force or universal intelligence and Ki means life force energy. Therefore, Reiki means "universal life force energy."

Reiki is an energy that is directed and received from the divine source. It has its own intelligence and knows exactly where to go and what is needed. It originates from the divine and is therefore unlimited and can affect change on any level - body, mind, or spirit.

Reiki has facilitated healing in virtually every known illness and injury from a small cut to cancer. Reiki can also aid in our transition from this plane.

what can i expect during a reiki session?

Reiki is given by the laying on of hands and is deeply relaxing. The client rests on a table laying face up. It is not necessary to disrobe during a Reiki session. A standard treatment includes placing the therapist's hands on positions around the head, shoulders, stomach, and feet. In addition, other positions may be used to address specific areas of concern the client may have. Each position is held for between five and ten minutes.

The client rests on a massage table laying face up. It is not necessary to disrobe during a BioGenesis session. A standard treatment includes placing colored crystal glass wheels on specific areas of the client's body. A client may hold some of the tools during the session. Other BioGenesis tools are used several inches above the client's body in conjunction with the wheels to amplify the energy and intention of the session and to maximize the vibratory patterns that are the Divine blueprint of Perfection.

For most people BioGenesis Energy Sessions are deeply relaxing and healing. Client's experience tingles, seeing colors, hearing sounds, or other sensations during the treatment. A very deep sense of peace, relaxation, harmony, and restoration are typically experienced during and after the session. Many times, an "energy shift" can be felt as the pains and conditions improve or disappear.
